Lois J. Neece

Age 92 passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 29, 2020 and joined the love of her life and best friend, Addie “Eddie” Neece. She was born in Canton to the late James and Bernice Miller. She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma and Jack Hogue, Margie and Paul Gosiewski, Carol and Jim Cain; two infant brothers, Wayne and Jimmy; two nephews, Dennis Hogue, Paul David Gosiewski. She leaves to cherish her memory her two sisters, Cheryl (Tom) Oser, Beverly “Cookie” Miller; two nieces, Jennifer (Mike) Lipowski, Lindsay Oser and many other beloved nieces and nephews and their children. Lois graduated from Timken High School and was hired in the offices of the Timken Co. at age 17. She retired after 32 years of service. Lois and Eddie always together always so very happy, a match made in heaven together for 55 years. They enjoyed traveling to Florida for the month of May each year for 49 years competing who would get the best tan. After retirement Lois started a walking club with her neighbors which she thoroughly enjoyed walking regardless of the weather 6 days a week. She continued for nearly 4 decades. She also really enjoyed shopping and was always well put together with everything matching. Although they had no children, she and Eddie always enjoyed all their nephews and nieces and really enjoyed any children from the neighborhood who would come visit. All will agree she was a very generous person and will be greatly missed. Per her request, donations to St Jude or Wishes Can Happen in her honor would be appreciated as those were her favorite charities that she always generously supported. Due to the COVID crisis and wanting to protect family and friends, a private family funeral will take place in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. A special thank you for the Pines Nursing Home for taking excellent care of her, especially Michelle, Hope, Kristen, Madelyn and many more. Thank you and God bless.
