Linda L. Wolfe
age 69, of Canton, passed away Friday July 24, 2009 in her home following a brief battle with cancer. She was born February 21, 1940 in Grantsville, Maryland to the late Harry and Mamie (Smith) Stahl. Linda was a Canton area resident most of her life and a 1958 graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church and served as a foster parent to more than 50 foster children over a 20 year period. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Wolfe in 1996; seven brothers and one sister. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and John House of Canton, Sharon and Eli Rivera of Uniontown, Krystal Wolfe of the home; five grandchildren, Derek and Dustin House, Josh, Noah and Natalie Rivera; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Velma Bullock of Navarre, Frances Bullock of Carrollton, Mary and Dick Urban of Massillon; a special friend, Lillian Shaffer of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday July 29, 2009 at 11:00am in Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Diana Thompson officiating. Internment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday 5-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church on Wednesday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church at 3828 Cleveland Ave SE, Canton, OH 44707.
