Linda K. Sheffer-McDonald
age 55, of Canton, passed away Tuesday March 31, 2009 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Canton to Dwight W. and Jo Anne (Dennis) Sheffer. Linda was a life resident of the Canton area, a 1972 graduate of Canton South High School and a 1976 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She was formerly employed as a teacher with Canton Local Schools and St. Joseph Catholic School. She was founder and very active with Safety Town which was sponsored by the North Canton Jaycees for many years. She was a member of First Church of the Resurrection, Canton. She is preceded in death by her father, Dwight W. Sheffer in 2007. She is survived by her mother, Jo Anne Sheffer of Canton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Brent and Hillary Sheffer of Columbus, Scott and Elizabeth Sheffer of Chicago, IL; two nephews, Grahm and Duncan Sheffer. Funeral services will be Saturday April 4, 2009 at 2:00pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Interment in Union Cemetery, Louisville.
