Linda I. Girard
Age 68, of North Canton, passed away Sunday April 21, 2013 in the Chapel Hill Nursing Home. She was born August 17, 1944 in Sharples, West Virginia to the late Ellis Bud and Ermil (Smith) Boyd. Linda was a Canton area resident most of her life and was a member of Martindale Christian Fellowship Church. She was retired from Manor Care Nursing Home in 2008 and was formerly employed as a dietician with Baker Sumser Nursing Home. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Nate Girard; one aunt, Mary Male; one brother, Ellis Bud Boyd Jr. She is survived by four children and spouses, Jerry and Bev Briggs of Bolivar, Renee and John Warnock of North Canton, Debbie and Mike Cottrell of Senecaville, OH, Shawn and Angi Briggs of Canton; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Roger and Becky Boyd of Louisville, Rick and Lindel Boyd of Florida. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 23, 2013 at 12:00noon in Martindale Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Steve Manko officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
