Lewis S. Moore
Age 80, of Canton, passed away Wednesday May 19, 2010 in Aultman Hospital. He was born September 6, 1929 in Graysville, OH to the late Samuel P. and Sylvia M. (Walters) Moore. Lewis was a Canton area resident since 1948 and had attended the Church of Christ. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1987 after 23 years of service and was a member of the UAW Local #542. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by seven brothers, Kenneth, Carlis, Ellis, James, Clayton, Errett and Lawrence Moore. He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Rosalie and James Paul Smith of Canton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Denver and Betty Moore of Cadiz, OH, Jack and Joyce Moore of Mineral City; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Saturday May 22, 2010 at 11:00am in the Graysville Church of Christ Cemetery, Graysville, OH with his nephew, Rev. Darwin Smith officiating. Friends may call Friday (tonight) 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
