Lesleyann Hartswell Ziegler

Lesleyann Hartswell Ziegler, age 85, went home to be with our Lord on November 4, 2024. She was born on January 7, 1939 in Canton to her parents, the late, Edward M. and Gladys Hartswell Fashbaugh. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. 

She treasured her entire family and had a passion for taking care of animals. Her and late husband, Richard E Ziegler Sr. co-owned and ran the Canton South Bowlerama. She also was formerly employed by Mutual of Omaha, Stern and Manns and retired from the Suarez Corporation. 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E Ziegler, Sr, and her brothers William E Fashbaugh, Sr. and Herbert H Fashbaugh. 

Survivors include two sons, Richard E Ziegler, Jr., James M Ziegler both of Canton; daughter, Lesleyann H Ziegler II of Canton; Grandsons Brent (Candice) Ziegler of Colorado and Nathan Lewis of Canton; great grandsons Remington, Hunter, Carter and Austin of Colorado; sister Janet Mohler of Navarre; sister-in-law Miriam Fashbaugh of Minerva; Many nieces and nephews who she truly loved and cherished.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm Lesleyann funeral service be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00 am with one hour of calling hours prior (10:00 -11:00am) with Pastor Ed Fashbaugh officiating. Lesleyann will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
