Leroy J. Strubel
Leroy J. Strubel, age 70, of Navarre died Thursday March 31, 2005 unexpectantly in his home. Born in Navarre, OH. on Nov. 23, 1934 to the late Jay E. and Loretta (Hambach) Strubel. He was a life resident of the Navarre area and an Army veteran. Retired from the Timken Co. in 1992 and Owner/ Operator of Lee's Mower Shop, Navarre. Member of Fellowship Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mary Strubel in 2004; sister, Irene Horn; grandson, Anthony Camp. Survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Bonnie Strubel of Navarre, Daniel and Kim Strubel of Robertsville, Randy and Annette Strubel of Dover, Timothy and Jennie Strubel of Magnolia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and James Stenger of Navarre, Theresa and Dennis Schafrath of Beach City; 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; three sisters, Ardell Raynard of Dalton, Margie Speicher of Silver Springs, MD, Cecila "Sis" Flinner of Navarre; numerous nieces and nephews, his companions, Peanut and Cashew. Funeral services will be Monday April 4, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Thomas Shank Jr. officiating. Interment in East Union Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Memorial donations may be made to Aultman Heart Center c/o Pat Miller - 2600 6th St. S.W.
