Leonard L. Talbott
Age 72, of East Canton, passed away Monday March 7, 2011 in his home. He was born April 14, 1938 in Vadis, WV to the late William and Ruby (Lawson) Talbott. Leonard was a 1957 graduate of East Canton High School and an East Canton area resident most of his life. He retired from the United Food Workers and was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. He was a member of the Jr.O.U.A.M. and the Osnaburg Historical Society. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol A. Talbott on July 16, 2010 to whom he was married 50 years. He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Doug Mobberley of Minerva, Wendy Talbott of East Canton, Shelly and Greg Roubanes of N. Lawrence, Sherry and Chuck McCauley of Canton; five grandchildren, Taryn, Brianna and Lauren McCauley, Elisabeth and Matthew Mobberley; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Rulena Ann Esway of Florida, Loretta and Gene Matheny of Louisville. Funeral services will be Thursday March 10, 2011 at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor James Painting officiating. Interment in Warstler Cemetery.
