Leola M. Chesser, age 96, of Canton, died Saturday, March 5, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born August 31, 1908, in Cambridge, OH. to the late John and Ella Milhoan. She was a Canton area resident most of her life and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Chesser in 1978. Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Nina Chesser of Troutville, VA., Bob and Clare Chesser of Canton; five grandchildren; eight great granchildren; one great great grandson. Funeral services will be Tuesday March 8, 2005 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Ronald Howard officiating. Interment in North Salem Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 6 - 8pm.
