Lawrence E. "Bud" Bagent
Lawrence E. "Bud" Bagent, age 78, of Canton Township, passed away Thursday November 1, 2007 in Aultman Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born August 17, 1929 in Dresden, OH, to the late Hugh Kenneth and Virginia (Garver) Bagent. Bud was a life resident of Canton Township and a 1947 graduate of Canton Township High School. He retired from the Hoover Company in 1993 after 42 years of service and was a life long farmer. Bud was a member of the First Christian Church, Canton, Canton South AARP and a 50 year member of Pike Grange. He was a honorary member of the Canton Township Volunteer Fire Department, Station #1. He was a former member of the Buckeye Bacon Burners Camping Club and truly enjoyed boating with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, H. Joann (Barnes) to whom he was married 58 years; two daughters, Linda S. Young and Bonnie Bagent; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Debbie Bagent; seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a special friend of the family, Carol Miller; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Delores Bagent of Ft. Myers, FL. Funeral services will be Sunday November 4, 2007 at 5:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Jeffrey Bullock officiating. Friends may call Sunday 2-5pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church, Continue the Call Campaign, at 6900 Market Ave N., Canton, OH 44721.
