Laura Lee Callihan
Age 85, of Middletown, Delaware died Monday, April 14, 2014 in Wilmington Hospital, Wilmington, DE. following an extended illness. Born June 23, 1928 in Salem, WV. to the late Roy and Bessie (Bee) McDonald. She was a Canton, Ohio resident from 1951 to 1987, then moving to Gloucester Point, VA. where she resided until 1999 when she relocated to Middletown, DE. Laura retired from Timken Mercy Hospital. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Gloucester Point, VA. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Callihan in 1991. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Karen Callihan of Pittsburg, PA., Rick Callihan of Middletown, DE; four grandchildren, Brian Callihan, Megan Callihan-Heard, Erin Diehl and Kevin Callihan; two great grandchildren, Thomas and Charles Bosley. Funeral services will be Friday, April 18, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
