Larraine K. ”Aunt Doll” Meredith

Age 70, of Lake Mohawk, passed peacefully with her family beside her, on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in Canton, OH.  Dolly was born on July 1, 1947 in Canton to the late Robert and Emeline (McCarthy) Mohr.  Dolly founded A-1 Answering Service in 1965, following her high school graduation.  After her marriage in 1978 to William L. Meredith, she operated the office of Meredith Erectors and Crane Rentals.  Dolly was a longtime volunteer of the Red Cross. Dolly enjoyed wintering in Cocoa Beach, Fl. With her husband. Her passion was animals and she loved her farm.  She became involved with horses, purchasing her own Thoroughbreds; It was always her delight to be in the winner’s circles.  Dolly had numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved like her own children.  She was a special soul and her love for others ran deep; she will be greatly missed.  She is survived by her beloved husband, William L. Meredith; her sister, Sandy (Mohr) Workman; her twin brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Lucille Mohr. A private memorial will be held for the immediate family, on Thursday May 3, 2018 at 1:00pm in Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home.  Friends are invited to please join us at McCall’s Restaurant and Banquet Center from 2:30-4:30pm on Thursday to help us share in our fond memories of Dolly.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family Disability Services, 5171 Knight Road, Malvern, OH 44644.
