Lacy L. Berry
Age 78, of Canton went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 following an extended illness. Born November 24, 1934 in Lawton, WV to the late Oscar and Elva (Gill) Berry. He was a Canton resident since 1954 and a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. Lacy retired from Teledyne-Monarch Rubber after 29 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Berry in 1999; one sister, Elois Berry; five brothers, twins Harvey and Harrison, Leonard, Alonzo and Owen Berry. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Darlene and Dan Cantley of Struthers, Teresa Berry of the home; one son, Darrell Berry of Canton; two sisters, Eva White of Canton, Barbara Berry of Alliance; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Jonathan Troyer officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5 -7 pm.
