Kevin J. Birchfield
Age 28, of Columbus, OH. passed away Thursday June 23, 2016 in the Cleveland Clinic following a courageous two-year battle with Leukemia. He was born March 7, 1988 in Columbus to James E. Birchfield and Annette Grooms and was a life resident of the Columbus area. He was a 2006 graduate of Grove City High School and a member of the Scioto Valley Rugby Club. He was employed by Byers Imports. Kevin was a fun loving guy with an infectious smile who loved time spent with his family and many friends. Kevin is survived by his wife, Kandice L. (Wagner) to whom he was married three years; one daughter, Evelyn M. Birchfield; his mother, Annette Morris of Columbus; father, James Birchfield of Florida; two sisters, Krysta and Brandi Morris; half-brother, Joseph Birchfield; grandfather, Alton (Cathy) Grooms; grandmother, Cecelia Grooms. Funeral services will be Friday July 1, 2016 at 11:00am in the Grace Baptist Church at 5050 Middlebranch Ave NE., Canton, OH 44705 with Pastor David Ryan officiating. Friends will be received Thursday 5-8pm at the church and one hour before services on Friday at the church (10-11am).
