Kenneth L. Beck
Kenneth L. Beck, age 66, of East Canton died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 following an extended illness. Born January 6, 1941 in East Canton to the late Jacob D. and Esther P. (Anthony) Beck. He was a life resident of East Canton and 1959 graduate of East Canton High School and a 1970 graduate of Kent State University. Kenneth proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Retired June 11, 2006 as manager of Triangle Credit Union, Dayton, OH. and was a former manager of the Canton School Employees Credit Union. Member of Juillard Masonic Lodge #460 F.& A.M., 32 Degree Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, Tadmore Shrine, Fraternal Order of Eagles #2374, American Legion Post #548, VFW Post #3747. Kenneth was an avid golfer. Preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Donald Beck; one nephew, Paul Beck. Survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Barbara A. (Holben) Beck; one son, Kenneth L. Beck of California; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Arline Beck of Canton; one brother-in-law, Butch (Carolyn) Holben; three sisters-in-law, Drenna Baum and friend Allie McCauley, Linda (Bob) Pool, Jane Holben; several nieces and nephews and many special friends. The family would like to thank Mercy Hospice for their wonderful care given to Kenneth. Funeral services will be Friday, June 29, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Stephen Kimbrel officiating. Interment in Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5 - 8 pm with Masonic services at 4:45pm.
