Kayla Mae Salyers
Kayla Mae Salyers, age 14, of East Canton; our little angle was called to heaven, Thursday October 20, 2005, in Akron Children's Hospital following an extended illness. She was a life resident of the East Canton area, a member of the East Canton Church of God and had attended Massillon Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Floyd L. and Clara M. Saunier Jr. Kayla is survived by her mother, Diana Mae Salyers of East Canton and her friend, LaVell Lawson; father and step-mother, Kevin and Rose Ann Salyers of Massillon; one sister, Clarissa Mae Salyers of the home; two step-sisters, Heather Berens and Alyssa Braun; two step-brothers, Brandon Berens and Alexander Braun all of Massillon; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Marilyn Salyers of Canton; uncle and aunt, Eric and Debbie VanNostran of East Canton; numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 1:00pm in Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Rex Stout officiating. Internment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Monday 6-9pm in the funeral home. The family request that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
