Kathy S. Dazey
Kathy S. Dazey, age 52, of Canton, died Monday January 9, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following a two year battle with cancer. She was born September 5, 1953 in Canton, to Robert and Shirley (Johnson) Secrest. Kathy was a life resident of the East Canton and Canton area and a 1971 graduate of East Canton High School. She was an Office Administrator with the Edward C. Levy Company. A very active member of North Industry Christian Church where she was involved with the Women of Grace Ministry. She is survived by her husband, Charles F. "Chuck" Dazey to whom she was married 11 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Candy and Jim Fisher of Canton; one step-son and his wife, Shawn and Dawn Dazey of Massillon; two granddaughters, Ali and Ashlan Fisher; four grandsons, Michael, Jacob, Shawn Jr., and Austin Dazey; her parents, Robert and Shirley Secrest of East Canton; one sister, Elizabeth Heid of N. Canton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert John Secrest Jr. and Kathleen of East Canton, Tom and Jesse Secrest of Carrollton; several nieces and nephews. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come to Me" With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A Golden Heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 11:00am in North Industry Christian Church with Stephen Kimbrel officiating. Interment in Indian Run Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm in Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave and one hour before services at the church on Thursday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the N.I. Christian Church Missions Society at 425-45th St SW., Canton, OH. 44706.
