Kathy Joanne Burleson

Age 61, of Westerville, OH passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 following an auto accident. She was born in Canton, Ohio on August 20, 1957. Kathy graduated from Glenwood High School in 1975 and Brown Mackie College in 2005. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Cleveland Indians, loved to travel, play games, watch TV, fish and took pride in researching her family genealogy. Preceded in death by her loving spouse, Lisa Seymour in 2006; her parents, David Henry and Kathleen (Bryant) Burleson; a sister, Irma Jean Brasill; 3 brothers, Norris, Noren, and Norwin Jeffery Burleson. She is survived and will be missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman Burleson, Norval and Nancy Burleson, Norbert and Marie Burleson, Norlan David and Audrey Burleson; six nieces, Clair, Lacey, Monica, Julie, Michelle and Kaitlynd; six nephews, David, Stephen, Ian, Brett, Michael and Daniel; 18 grand nieces and nephews; two great grand nephews; extended family, Debbie and David Collins and son, Matt, Jason Fletcher, Jen and Jeff Fowler and their children. She loved and took great pleasure in being with all the children in her life. Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 24, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave in Canton. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Sunday from 6 – 8 pm.
