Kathleen R. Barrick
Age 92, of Canton died Monday, January 20, 2014 in Aultman Compassionate Care Centre following an extended illness. Born November 23, 1921 in Benwood, WV. to the late Fred and Cora (Auten) Geraghty. She was a Canton resident most of her life and a 1939 graduate of Canton McKinley High School. Kathleen was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles McKinley Aerie #2370 Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Barrick Sr. in 2010; one son-in-law, Earl Watson Sr.; ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Rita Watson, Cynthia and Larry Archer, Deborah and Tim Murphy all of Canton; one son, Wayne Barrick Jr. of Barberton; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Jan 24, 2014 at 10:00 am in St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Edward L. Beneleit as Celebrant. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
