Kathleen M. Alberts, age 85, of East Canton, died Friday, January 13, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Waynesburg, PA, June 14, 1920 to the late Homer and Dora (Phillips) Chaney. She was an East Canton resident since 1974, prior to which she resided in Canton. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sherwin Alberts in 1988; one brother, Donald Chaney. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Sherwin and Judith Alberts of Clinton, OH; one daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Jerry McKinney of Louisville, OH; three grandchildren, Julie Alberts of Naples, FL, Lisa McKinney of Warren, Bryan (Judi) McKinney of Canton; three great grandchildren, Kendra, Zachary and Kristopher; one sister and brother-in-law, Corrine and Earl Fuller of Rochester, NY; one brother, Marvin Huffman of Waynesburg, PA. Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 16, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Minister Jeffrey Bullock officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Sunday 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
