Katherine L. Bonam
Katherine L. Bonam, age 82, of Louisville died Friday, May 16, 2008 in Alliance Community Hospital following a sudden illness. Born June 25, 1925 in Antioch, OH. to the late John O. and Lavada (Dailey) Hooper. She was a Canton area resident since 1945. Katherine was a member of the Market Avenue Church of Christ and AARP. Preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd E. Bonam in 2001; two brothers, Thomas and Bob Hooper; four sisters, Bessie Hooper, Dorothy Ricer, Ruth Miller and Waneta Ricer. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jerry Johnson of Louisville, Anita and Jim Minard of Alliance; two sons, Ed Bonam of Wisconsin, Francis Bonam of Louisville; one brother, Ralph Hooper of Brookville, FL; special sister-in-law, Hazel Mathews of Canton; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend of Malvern. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Keith Kull officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 pm.
