Katherine J. (Hoopingarner) Adams, age 94, of Canton died Tuesday, September 19, 2006 in Altercare of Louisville following an extended illness. Born January 7, 1912 in Canton to the late George and Leora (Wolf) Duff. She was a life resident of Canton and former member of the Christian Assembly of God. Katherine was a good Christian woman and loved to serve the Lord. Preceded in death by her first husband, Jasper J. Hoopingarner; second husband, Jesse Adams Sr; one brother and two sisters. Survived by two daughters, Betty Tucci and Shirley Sterling both of Canton; six grandsons; six great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; three nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, September 22, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Charles Mills officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6 - 8 pm.
