Karen A. Shuman
Age 65, of Alliance, passed away Saturday September 3, 2011 in Aultman Hospital. She was born December 12, 1945 in Minerva, OH to the late William and Laura (Deutcheon) Casey. Karen was an Alliance resident for the past seven years, prior to which she had resided in Louisville. She was a graduate of Louisville High School and was formerly employed by St. Joseph Care Center. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles ladies auxiliary in Louisville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Edward H. Shuman to whom she was married 46 years; three children and their spouses, Michael and Delores Shuman of Minerva, Brian Shuman of Louisville, Laura and Robert Wacker of East Canton; ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 7, 2011 at 1:30pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Michael Jones officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery.
