June A. Werner
Age 81, of Massillon died Thursday, November 28, 2013 in Aultman Compassionate Care Centre following a brief illness. Born June 22, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. to the late Alfonso P. Sr. and Anna M. (Farino) Coy. She was a Canton area resident most of her life having also resided in Lady Lake, FL. for 24 years. June was a nurse much of her career at various hospitals in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida. She was a member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary in Florida where she served as a past commander. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Werner in 2003; one son, Larry Fetter; one brother, Alfonso Coy Jr; one sister, Christine Ondrizek. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Richard Hamilton of East Sparta; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Antoinette and Edward Wentworth of Canton; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone at Hospitality House in Massillon, where she made her home for the past eight years and both Aultman Hospital and Aultman Compassionate Care Centre for their tender loving care. A memorial service will be Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Inurnment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH. Memorial donations may be made to Hospitality House or Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
