June L. Tawney
Age 70, of Mineral City died Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born January 23, 1947 in Canton, Ohio to the late Arthur and Mary (Nimon) Sproul. She was a Mineral City resident for the past 12 years. She was a 1965 Graduate of Canton South High School and a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. June love to Crochet and to take driving trips with her husband, Jim in their 1970 Chevy Nova through the mountains of Virginia. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, James F. Tawney; two daughters and son-in-law, Stacey and Jeff Wills, Angela Shreffler; two grandchildren, William and Brandon Wills; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Richard Small; one brother, Timothy Sproul. A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service from 1 – 2 pm.
