June Ann (Nichols) Stauffer
June Ann (Nichols) Stauffer, age 48, passed away Friday December 7, 2007 in her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 18, 1959 in Canton to Ronald W. and Jean E. (Gonser) Nichols. June was a life resident of the Canton area and was a 1977 graduate of Perry High School. She was a 1991 graduate of Canton School of Practical Nursing and recently celebrated 10 years of sobriety. She was formerly employed as an LPN with Manor Care Nursing Home, Laurels of Massillon and the Little Forest Nursing Home. Member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald W. Nichols in 2000; one sister, Linda Leach in 2002 and an infant sister. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, April and Brian Johnston of Canton; 2 grandchildren, Austin and Dakota Johnston; former husband and best friend, Terrol A. Stauffer of Canton; mother, Jean E. Nichols of Canton; sister, Sandra Lutz of Canton, one brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Sharon Nichols of Canton; good friend, Dovenetta Johnson of Canton; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Tigger; she will be missed by all. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 11, 2007 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Diana Thompson officiating. Friends may call Monday 6-8pm in the funeral home.
