June E. Hawkins, age 75, of Canton, died Thursday April 7, 2005
in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Daughter of the late Charles L. and Hazel M. (Raines) Reed. She was a Canton area resident since 1947 and a member of New Beginnings Canton Foursquare Church. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Martin B Hawkins in 2000, one sister, Barbara McCune, two brothers, Donald and Charles Reed. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen & Robert Hoover, Cathy & James Mathews all of Canton; Three grandchildren and their spouses, Martin D.(Terri)Smith, Tina (Martin D.)DeSimone, Carla (Harley) Larch; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Biggs of Independence MO, Wanda Mullet of Canton, Sandra Starr of Minerva. Funeral services will be Monday at 11am in Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Walter S. Moss officiating. Interment in Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 3-5 pm in the funeral home.
