Judith L. Momirov
Age 60, of Cambridge, OH passed away unexpectedly Monday September 29, 2014 while vacationing with friends at the Outer Banks, NC. She was born July 3, 1954 in Canton to the late Martin and Elizabeth (Whelan) Momirov. Judy was a 1972 graduate of Canton South High School, a graduate of Bowling Green State University and received her master's degree in education. Judy was a resident of Cambridge for more than 35 years and retired from East Guernsey Local Schools where she was a teacher at Buckeye Trail High School. She was a member of Ninth Street United Methodist Church and the Cambridge Glass Collectors. She was an active person and participated in numerous clubs and organizations over the years. Judy was a very giving person, a great friend to all, educator to many, and a blessing to everyone whose lives she touched. Judy is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Norman Janecek of East Canton; one niece, Stephanie Janecek of Louisville; twin great nieces, Amanda and Kayla Janecek; dear friend, Shirley DiFolco of Cambridge; one aunt, Sally Momirov of East Canton; many extended family members, special and dear friends and many former students. Funeral services will be Saturday October 4, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Karen Rawlins officiating. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery. Calling hours are two hours before services on Saturday (12-2pm). A memorial service will be conducted Sunday October 5, 2014 at 2:00pm in Ninth Street United Methodist Church in Cambridge, OH, where light refreshments will be served immediately following the service.
