Judie K. Lones

Judie K Lones, age 80, life-long resident of East Sparta, OH, passed away on July 9, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Born July 30,1942 in Beckley, WV, Judie moved to Ohio as a young adult and later in life retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings and an infant grandson.

She is survived by four children and their spouses – Cherie (Ron) Lucas of Canton, OH, Peggy (Alan) Turvey of North Canton, OH, John (Cheryl) Lones of Carrollton, GA and Gunnar (Amy) Lones of Massillon, OH; eight grandchildren, Jamie, Joshua, Shaun, Jennifer, Misty, Kayla, Savannah, and Gunnar; nine great-grandchildren, Breanna, Kyle, Hunter, Chantz, Jakob, Justin, Emily, Ivy, and Audrey; numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services, however the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. The family would like to thank all involved with her hospice care over the past 2 months for making it possible to fulfill her wish to die at her place of residence.
