Joyce A. Swan
Joyce A. Swan, age 79, of East Canton, passed away unexpectedly, Monday May 19, 2008 in St. Joseph Care Center. She was born March 11, 1929 in Canton, OH. to the late Howard R. and Dorcas J. (Giffin) Swan. Joyce was a 1947 graduate of Chagrin Falls High School and an East Canton resident most of her life. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church and retired in 1991 from Republic Steel after 40 years of service. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, George and Joan Swan of East Canton; three nieces, one nephew, four great nieces and one great nephew. Funeral services will be Wednesday May 21, 2008 at 1:00pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor James L. Snyder officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
