Joshua T. Shearer
Joshua T. Shearer, age 19, of Robertsville, passed away unexpectedly in his home Monday August 4, 2008. He was born February 25, 1989 in Canton to Tim A. and Beth A. (Gamber) Shearer. Joshua was a life resident of the Robertsville area and a 2007 graduate of Minerva High School. He and his father Tim partnered in the family farming business and in Shearer Meats. Josh loved farming and truly enjoyed boating and skiing. He never met a stranger, both young and old, he loved to sit and talk and always made you feel as if you had been friends forever. Joshua was a member of St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church, Malvern. He was an avid organ and piano player having played at Christ Memorial Church and St. Gabriel Catholic Church. He was a member of the Farmhands 4H Club for 10 years. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph R. and Jean Gamber, Richard Shearer. He is survived by his parents, Tim and Beth Shearer of Robertsville; one brother, Ryan Shearer of Robertsville; one sister and brother-in-law, Lindsay and Doug Milano of Robertsville; grandmother, Frances Shearer of Robertsville; two aunts, Karen Wackerly of Malvern, Kathy (Steve) Pearson of Arvada, CO; four uncles, Joe (Ann) Gamber of Malvern, Stan (Sue) Gamber of Bolivar, Scott Shearer of Morrow, GA, Bill Shearer of Lakewood, CO; numerous cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday August 8, 2008 at 10:00am in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Interment in Robertsville Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 6-8pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with prayer services at 5:30pm, and one hour before services at the church on Friday (9-10am) where the procession will form. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association at P.O. Box 182039 Dept. 013, Columbus, OH 43218-2039.
