Josephine P. Smith

Age 89, of Canton passed away Tuesday May 11, 2021 in the Gables of Canton. She was born March 18, 1932 in Canton to the late Phillip and Eva (Lebec) Krizon. Josephine was a 1951 graduate of Minerva High School and a Canton area resident most of her life. She was a member of the former Westminster Community Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles aerie #2370. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Smith in 2020; one son, Robert E. Smith; six brothers, Mike, Frank, Carl, Joseph, George and John Krizon; seven sisters, Kate Soptleene, Helen Louive, Ann Hunnell, Violet Bell, Mildred Phillips, Mary Krizon and Rose Basa. Josephine is survived by two sons, Ronald (Susan) Smith and Richard (Sheryl) Smith; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A private family service will be conducted in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with burial in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
