Joseph H. Wallace
Age 87, of East Sparta died Monday, June 22, 2015 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born November 29, 1927 in Harrison City, Pennsylvania to the late Jacob and Bessie (Lauffer) Wallace. He was an East Sparta resident most of his life and a U.S. Army veteran. Joseph retired from the Timken Company in 1987 with 38 years of service. He was a member of Howenstine Christian Church. Preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Wayne Wallace; five brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Imelda A. (Alborn) Wallace; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Harriet Wallace of East Canton, Bruce and Rhonda Wallace; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Carol Wallace of Youngwood, PA; two sisters and brother-in-law, Ellen Hapchuck of Greensburg, PA., Sara and Bob Oplinger of Jeannette, PA. Funeral services will be Friday, June26, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Chris Davis officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday from 10 – 11 am.
