Joseph W. Kress II
Age 45, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Monday November 10, 2014. He was born March 30, 1969 in Canton to Joseph W. and Paula K. (Derry) Kress. Joseph was a 1988 graduate of East Canton high School and attended Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. He was formerly employed by Kress IGA for several years, Giant Eagle and Fred Martin Nissan. Joseph had a great passion for gardening, landscaping, auto detailing and playing the drums; he was an 80's rock fan. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. Kress in 2012; his grandparents, John and Blanche Kress, Harold and Opal Derry. He is survived by his mother, Paula K. Kress of East Canton; two sisters, Gina Kress of Aurora, CO, Monica Kress of Canton; one niece, Alex Kress; step-mother, Beverly Kress of Louisville; special friend, Lily Guidone of Canton; his feline companion, Dio; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including Helen and Laura. A memorial service will be Friday November 14, 2014 at 4:00pm in Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church at 108 Walnut St E., East Canton, OH 44730 with Rev. Clark Kandel Jr. and Fr. Tom Bishop as celebrants. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society at 5100 Peach St NE., Louisville, OH 44641 or Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
