Joseph J. Howard, age 57, of East Canton died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in Aultman Hospital following a sudden illness. Joseph was a devoted husband, a role model and dedicated father to his children and grandchildren. Born July 27, 1950 in Canton, OH. to the late Orie L. and Beulah J. (Bahler) Howard. He was a life resident of the Canton area and a loyal employee of the Timken Company for the past 34 years. Member of the Buckeye Corvette Club. He enjoyed spending time with his wife cruising in his corvette and playing with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by an infant son, Trevor Howard; two brothers, Orie J. and Richard Howard. Survived by his wife of 36 years, Carla A. (Rice) Howard; three sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Jannine Howard of Dayton, Mark and Erica Howard of Columbus, Joseph and Megan Howard of Stow; two grandsons, Mason and Tyler Howard; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment will be Friday, August 24, 2007 at 10:00 am in Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, OH. Friends may call Thursday (Tonight) from 6 - 8 pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Memorial donations may be made to the Hemophilia Foundation or the American Liver Foundation.
