Joseph R. Hanson
Age 59, of Alliance died Thursday, October 1, 2015 in his daughter’s home following an extended illness. Born May 16, 1956 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Olin and Josephine (Binion) Hanson. He was a life resident of Alliance and was a retired self-employed truck driver. Joseph was a member of East Sparta Church of Christ. He was an avid baker and model plane builder. Preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Hanson in 2010. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Hanson; one daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie Jo and Chad Garabrandt of Dennison; one step daughter and spouse, Stephanie and Michael Carmean of Streetsboro; one sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Michael Dotson of Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Theresa Hanson of Louisville; several nieces and nephews; his best friend, Shiloh. A private family service has taken place. There will be no public services. Interment in Grandview Cemetery, Sebring, OH. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
