JOSEPH F. HANN
Joseph F. Hann, age 84, of Canton, died Sunday morning, April 24, 2005 at his residence following a brief illness. Son of the late Fred and Marie Hann; Joseph was a life resident of the Canton area, and was employed by Garaux Brothers for 35 years, and Kenneth Boger Construction for 2 years, as a heavy equipment operator. He retired from Stark County Engineers with 29 years of service and was a life member of First Lutheran Church. Member of FOE #2370 Canton, Catholic Golden Agers St. Teresa Chapter, Mended Hearts chapter # 19. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Birdelle (Kirkbride) Hann in 1984, to whom he was married 45 years; two brothers, Paul and Fred Hann; two sisters, Marie Evans and Martha Turner. He is survived by his wife, Mary T. (Aman) Hann; one son, Joseph W. Hann of Canton, one daughter and son-in-law, Dessie Marie and James Szakacs of Carrolton; three grandchildren, William and his wife Annabel Chess of Florida, Rose Marie O'Donnell of Canton, and Joseph W. Hann Jr. of Alliance; and seven great grandchildren; one sister, Caroline Hann of Canton; four step-children, Sharon Tisevich of Canton, Mary Beth Wilson of Canton, Jean Marie Angbrandt of Brunswick and Teresa Datha of Canton; 9 step-grandchliden and two step-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1:00pm in the First Lutheran Church at 909 Tuscarawas St. E., Canton, OH, with Pastor George Keeler officiating. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm in the Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.and one hour before services on Wednesday at the church (12-1pm). Interment in North Lawn Cemetery.
