Joseph Y. Davis Jr
Age 72, of East Canton died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born November 13, 1944 in Montgomery, WV to the late Joseph Y. and Alma (Bennett) Davis. He was an East Canton resident since 1968. Joseph retired from the Timken Company in 2001 with 35 years of service. He was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Davis. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean (Wisniewski) Davis; one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph R. and Cindy Davis of East Canton; three grandchildren, Joseph R. Davis II, Rayeann Davis, Kasey Davis; two brothers, John Davis of Louisville, Robert Davis of Canton. Funeral services will be Monday, May 15, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating. Entombment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2 – 4 pm.
