John “Jack” D. Walencewicz

Age 26, of Cleveland and formerly of Canton passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday, Aug 3, 2021 from a sudden medical condition. Born June 20, 1995 in Wheat Ridge, CO to Matthew and Susan (McLean) Walencewicz. Jack was a graduate of St Joseph Grade School, Canton, a 2013 graduate of Canton Central Catholic High School and a 2017 graduate of the Ohio State University Fisher School of Business. He was employed by Avient Corporation in Avon Lake, OH where he was a Senior Financial Analyst. Preceded in death by grandparents, Al and Maureen Walencewicz. He is survived by parents, Matthew and Susan Walencewicz; a brother, Will Walencewicz; grandparents, Dean and Shirley McLean; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; Jack’s girlfriend, Allison Blong; and friends too many to count. All that knew Jack will remember his kind heart and humble soul. Please cheer loud enough for him to hear you this fall football season. He is going to miss his beloved Buckeyes! Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Aug 7, 2021 at 10:00 am in St Joseph Catholic Church, Canton with Msgr. Frank Carfagna as Celebrant. Friends may call Friday from 5 – 7 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
