John M. Trent

John M. Trent, age 72, passed away on December 9, 2023, in the comfort of his home. He was born on May 15, 1951, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Lester and Beatrice (Baer) Trent.

John went to Timken High School and worked at a number of forging and foundry plants.

He loved reading by the pool and swimming. He also enjoyed going to garage sales. 

John retired from American Aluminum at the age of 67. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Michelle and her daughter Marcy, son-in-law; his children, Julie Busby, Ben Trent, and April Wyer; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, David, who died at the age of 56, and his sister, Linda Woods, who died at 66. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Sanders Funeral Homes to defer funeral expenses. 

The funeral service will be on Friday, December 15th, at 1:00 p.m. Calling hours will be held on Friday before the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the Sanders Funeral Home; Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
