John Frank Mortenson Jr.
Age 52, of East Sparta, passed away Wednesday September 29, 2010 in Aultman Hospital. He was born February 13, 1958 in Canton to John Frank and Glenda (Burfield) Mortenson Sr. John was a life resident of East Sparta and a 1976 graduate of Canton South High School. He was formerly employed by Rudick Construction Company and was the owner/operator of Bobcat Services for 15 years. He is preceded in death by his father, John Frank Mortenson Sr. in 2009. He is survived by his mother, Glenda Mortenson of East Sparta; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Deborah Mortenson Eckinger of Bolivar, Dr. Rebecca Mortenson-Meese and Thomas Meese of Denver, CO; seven nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to North Industry Christian Church at 425 – 45th St SW, Canton, OH 44706.
