John L. "Jake" Dugan
age 87, of Canton, passed away Tuesday September 22, 2009 in McKinley Health Care Center following a brief illness. He was born June 18, 1922 in Dennison, OH to the late John H. and Jennie (James) Dugan. John was a Canton area resident most of his life and was a WWII Army Veteran. He retired from Heckett Engineer after 20years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Dugan in 2004; one brother, James Dugan. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Frank Altier of Canton; two grandsons, Johnwayne Edwards of Waynesburg and Brad Edwards of Canton; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Janet Eder of Florida. Funeral services will be Friday September 25, 2009 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Terry Bailey officiating. Internment in Henry Warstler Cemetery.
