Joel L. John
Age 85, of East Canton, passed away Tuesday March 1, 2016 in Altercare of Alliance. He was born August 3, 1930 in Canton to the late Albertus and Audrey (Summers) John. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Joel retired from Diebold Inc. after 33 years of service. He was a member of the East Canton Church of God, Fraternal Order of Eagles aerie #190 and the VFW Post #3747. He is preceded in death by his wife, Twila J. John and one brother, Rogell John. Joel is survived by two daughters, Jody John and Lisa Lago; three sons, Sandy (Shelly) John, Randy (Patti) John and Rodney (Shelly) John; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Colleen Tataru, Roselyn Carlson and Donna Jean (Bob) Adkins. Funeral services will be Saturday March 5, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Monteith officiating. Friends will be received one hour before services on Saturday (1-2pm).
