Joe M. Breniser, age 85, of Canton Township, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. He was born January 8, 1922 in Bolivar, OH, to the late Lester and Vera (Wardell) Breniser. Joe graduated from Strasburg High School, Canton Actual Business College and had attended City College of New York and the University of Pittsburg. Joe showed his love for the Lord in everything and shared his faith with everyone. He retired from Applied Industrial Technologies (formerly Bearings Inc.) after 48 years of service. He was the owner of Creative Training Institute, Canton, for ten years. He served as Treasurer or Avon Park Holiness Camp Association in Florida for seven years. Joe was associated with the World Gospel Mission, having conducted seminars for missionaries in the United States and foreign countries. Joe was an active Gideon for many years. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Canton and former member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church for many years. Joe was a WWII Army veteran having served in the European Theater and in the Battle of the Bulge. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wives, Lucille (Taylor) Breniser and Lucy (Blanchard) Breniser. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Berger) Tripp-Breniser to whom he was married 8 years; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Debbie Breniser; one granddaughter, Megan Breniser; one grandson and his wife, Matthew and Ashley Breniser; one great-granddaughter, Rylie Grace Breniser; two step-daughters, Debbie and her husband, Kevin Malavite, Cathy Lesher; two step-sons and their spouses, Scott and Mary Beth Tripp, Robert and Betty Foltz; ten step-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Arlene Blanchard, W. Jayne Kreider, Carole (Jack) Nichols, Vivan (Richard) Moomaw; brothers-in-law, Elden (Bobby) Taylor, Chester (Donna) Blanchard. A memorial service and "Celebration of Life" will be Sunday December 16, 2007 at 3:00pm in the First Lutheran Church at 909 E. Tuscarawas St, Canton, with Rev. George Keeler and Rev. Dr. Eldred Kelley officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to World Gospel Mission at P.O.
