Joann E. (Christman) DiNarda

Age 85, of Canton passed away Saturday July 10, 2021, surrounded by her family following an extended illness. She was born September 20, 1935, in Canton to the late Irvle and Dorothy (Morris) Christman. She was a 1953 graduate of McKinley High School and was formerly employed by Camden Dairy, Kresge’s Department Store, Automatic Steel and G.E. Joann was a loving, selfless person who was totally devoted to her entire family. She always put others before herself. She cherished all holidays, birthdays and many gatherings spent with her family. She enjoyed vacations to the beach, playing cards and reading mystery novels. She was the center of her family; their happiness and wellbeing were especially important. She kept everything together with her strength and guiding hand. She will be deeply missed. She also spent much time with her grandchildren and loved them dearly. She knew the Bible and loved God our Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Zucal and Carol Tolbert. Joann is survived by her husband, Ronald DiNarda; one son, Dennis (Karin) DiNarda; three daughters, Susan DiNarda, Sandra (Ronal) Origlio and Lisa (Mark) Distel; five grandchildren, David and Stephanie DiNarda, Jessica (Brandon) Graham, Sean and Joseph Origlio; six great-grandchildren, Lucas and Layla DiNarda, Grayson and Kyson Ayres, Cole and Tanner Graham; one brother, Warren (Debbie) Christman; two sisters, Sally Greene and Sue (Clark) Froelich; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
