Joan F. Swan
Age 87, of East Canton, passed away in her sleep after which her guardian angel escorted her to heaven on Thursday May 7, 2015. She was born February 28, 1928 in Canton to the late Harold and Marie (Ferry) Mark. She retired from the Timken Company in 1982 after 36 years of service. Joan was a very active member of the East Canton Church of God where she had taught Sunday school for 50 years. She is survived by her husband, George R. Swan to whom she was married 47 years; three children, Linda (David) Werstler, Jon (Teresa) Raber and Sandra Swan; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be Saturday May 9, 2015 at 2:00pm in Robertsville Cemetery. There are no other public services.
