Jimmie L. Cool Sr.
Age 74, of Dalton, OH. passed away Thursday March 11, 2010 in Dunlap Hospital following a brief illness. He was born December 13, 1935 in Guardian, WV to the late Paul E. and Icie (Ware) Cool. Jimmie was a Dalton area resident for the past 8 years, prior to which he had resided in Canton. He retired from Harrison Paint and was formerly employed by Macombers for 20 years. He was a Korean War Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Cool; two sisters, Carol Cutwright and Judy Cool; son-in-law, Richard Hines. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Markley) Cool to whom he was married 57 wonderful years; seven children and their spouses, Patty (William) Moose, Linda (Lou) Mikunda, Jackie (Dave) DiCato, Debbie (Eric) Neff, Terri Angelo, Susie (Terry) Archer, Jimmie Jr. (Terri) Cool; 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul E. Jr. (Ronnie) Cool of West Virginia. Jimmie truly enjoyed his favorite place, The Wild Wonderful West Virginia. Funeral services will be Monday March 15, 2010 at 11:00am in the Dodd and Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs, WV. Interment in Big Run Cemetery, Guardian, WV. Friends may call Saturday 5-7pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and Sunday 5-7pm in the Dodd and Reed Funeral Home.
