Jerry L. Brown
Age 67, of Louisville died Friday, May 25, 2012 in Aultman Hospital. Born September 22, 1944 in Canton, OH. to the late Edward and Eula (Morrison) Brown. He was a 1963 graduate of East Canton High School and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. Jerry retired from the Timken Company after 36 years of service, was formerly employed by Sable Creek Golf Course and was currently employed by Sleepy Hollow Golf course. He had formerly served on the Louisville City Council and had been a youth baseball coach and Cub Scout leader for many years. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janice E. (Carson) Brown; one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Lori Brown of Alliance; one daughter and son-in-law, Angie and David McCallum of Canton; four grandchildren, Kylee, Ty, Kendyl and Madison; one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Cindy Brown of Powell, OH; two sisters and brother-in-law, Irene and John Stocker of Louisville, Jean Brown of North Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, 7920 Frank Rd. N. Canton, OH. 44720. Memorial donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society or the Canton Audubon Society.
