Age 35, of East Canton died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in Broward General Medical Center, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born November 17, 1973 in Canton, OH. and was an East Canton resident most of his life. He was a graduate of East Canton High School. Jeremy loved the outdoors and golfing. Preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Murphy; a grandmother, Stella Rice. Survived by his father and step-mother, Douglas and Diane Rice of East Canton; mother and step-father, Linda Di Paulo and Rodney Strickland of Pensacola, FL; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Tracie Rice of Killen, TX; one sister and brother-in-law, Christina and Mike Deutschman of Magnolia; grandfather, Carl Rice of East Canton; three nephews; two nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial mass will be Friday, April 3, 2009 at 10:00am in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton.
