Jerald D. Uplinger

Age 70, of Canton, passed away Monday May 4, 2020 in Aultman Hospital. He was born February 15, 1950 in Canton to the late Dallas and Maudleen (Schleappi) Uplinger. Jerald was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from Atomic Septic after 10 years of service. He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Gerald Uplinger; one sister, Maudleen Stoneking; son-in-law, Bob Oliver. He is survived by his wife, Diane L. (Goddard) to whom he was married 34 years; three children, Jeffrey (Corine) Uplinger, Sherry Uplinger and Lori Mohr (William Green); grandchildren, Brandon, Jennifer, Alyssa, Austin, Gabrielle, Robert, Amy, Alicia, Stacy and Amanda; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Ronald Richter; step-mother, Kay Uplinger; special niece, Michelle Crew; special family member, Shirley Uplinger; fishing buddy, Jake Martin; his five canine companions.
